Beautifully situated in the forest in the Vosges region of France. Hotel has a lot of character and charm. Extremely peacefl setting with many walks possible from the hotel. The food was excellent and included many local specialities at prices that were very favourable compared to th hotels of smilar quality. We had no complaints and wished that we had booked for longer on this trip

Our family had a fantastic time at this comfortable hotel located in a historic and picturesque setting. We enjoyed a range of outdoor activities such as cycling, fishing, and hiking in the beautiful forest surrounding the hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was also family-friendly, with amenities for up to three children under 6 years old. We loved the authentic and delicious local Alsatian food served at the restaurant, and the kids particularly enjoyed exploring the medieval fishponds outside. it was a great experience for the whole family.
For families with children, it would be great if the hotel could provide a small refrigerator in the room. This would allow us to store snacks and drinks, especially since the restaurant is not always open and stores are far.

Wonderful location, authentic hotel, helpful staff , fantastic restaurant and food.
Who needs a shower curtain or a functional shower head? And the lack of a coffee/tea set really made my day.

the local Alsacian food, including pike and trout, was delicious. What I loved most were the medieval fishponds located outside the hotel. This would be a perfect place for walking and exploring. the size of my room was surprising, with a spacious layout and a walk-in closet for my luggage. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom with a full-sized tub was lovely. Despite the slightly gruff staff, they were still helpful. the ambience of the restaurant was charming, and the food choices were impressive. the restaurant was also popular with locals. I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the nice breakfast. Cons: Couldn't fault anything at Auberge D'Imsthal. 👍.
